В статье представлен авторский взгляд на отдельные вопросы формирования «русской идеи» — темы, интерес к которым со временем только усиливается. Выделены основные факторы формирования «русской идеи», а также основные принципы «русской идеи» на современном этапе в политической и культурной сферах, а также в сфере образования и религии. Дан критический анализ репрезентации русской идеи в работах А.С. Панарина, А.Г. Дугина и В.К. Кантора. Особое внимание уделено проблеме восприятия Запада в контексте современного этапа возрождения русской идеи — необходимости его более внимательного изучения, отказа от стереотипов и расхожих штампов, а также от упрощения Запада во имя возвышения русской идеи. Новый виток идеологической войны, несмотря на эксплуатацию как Россией, так и западным миром старых и новых мифов, рассматривается автором как имеющий свои позитивные стороны, прежде всего как демонстрирующий очевидную необходимость самостоятельности в мышлении и критического отношения к медийному контенту.

The theme of ‘Russian idea’ refers to this kind of topics of interest to which only increased with time. Even the crisis in Ukraine is possible to some extent be regarded as ideologically the same argument about the ‘Russian idea’. Talk about it then erupted, then calms down, but never interrupted and cannot be said that such and such conditions play a keen interest on it, and some clearly not. So, there is something to resist and not dependent on external conditions in this thread. The main factors forming the ‘Russian idea’ in the article are: historical, geographical and religious (Orthodox) and the question remains whether their impact on the world of contemporary Russian man, especially if we refer to such processes as globalization, the Internet, mobile communications. The main steps that have had the most productive influence on the formation of specific characteristics of the ‘Russian idea’ and its personification became certain, are the following: Metropolitan Hilarion at theological stage, Theophane at the state stage, Slavophiles and Westernizers, School of V.S. Solovyov and F.M. Dostoevsky at philosophical and cultural stage, socialists after the revolution and during the ‘cold war’. Modern stage of ‘Russian idea’ formation became after Western sanctions that caused the unprecedented growth of patriotism.

What are the basic principles of the ‘Russian idea’ at the present stage? I suppose they are:

(i) in the political sphere — the desire to resist American hegemony and the affirmation of the idea of multipolarity of the world; formation of an image of the new policy format — open, ready for dialogue, and at the same time understanding and to protect national interests;

(ii) in the cultural sphere — turning it into main outpost of the "Russian idea";

(iii) in the sphere of education — an attempt to counter the ‘Bologna process’ and upholding the humanitarian component of education at all levels, through which, above all, there is a process and not just training, but also training, education (from the concept of "image");

(iv) in the sphere of religion — for a number of objective reasons here, in my opinion, the weakest spot of the "Russian idea". Russian Orthodox Church — the largest of the Orthodox Churches has not yet become a real leader of the Orthodox world, on the one hand, on the other hand, has not found the correct ways of interaction with both the authorities and with the infidels.

On the positive side of the current situation around the "Russian idea" note the gradual change of attitude towards the West; comes the realization that he is different, that it should be more carefully studied, and not rely on stereotypes and commonplaces stamps. Do not oversimplify the West in order to elevate the ‘Russian idea’ to oppose Russia to the West. This ideological war, which forcefully erupted today between Russia and the Western world exploits the old and creating new myths about the Russia and West. Yet even such ideological aggression on the consciousness of the ordinary man has its positive side, it shows clearly the need for independence in thinking and critical attitude to what you offer media. The final conclusion from this situation may be Kant’s famous words: sapere aude.
